Picture
Born in Málaga (Spain) in 1966, he is an illustrator, comic book author, and digital artist.
He trained as an artist at the Santa Isabel de Hungría Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Seville, where he earned a degree in Fine Arts specializing in painting. He subsequently developed his artistic career in the fields of illustration, photography, and comics.

He has participated in numerous collective exhibitions of painting, comics, illustration, and photography in Seville, Córdoba, Cádiz, Almería, Jaén, Tenerife, Lisbon, Terrassa, Barcelona, ​​Málaga, and Sitges, and has held solo exhibitions in Córdoba, Lisbon, Jaén, Almería, Málaga, Andújar, and Marmolejo.

As an illustrator, photographer, and comic artist, his artworks has been published in Spain by various publishers, including Planeta DeAgostini, Proyectos Editoriales Crom, DeTebeos, Oxford University Press, Apache Libros, Babidibu and Cazador. Internationally, his work has been published in several countries, including the USA. His work has been published by Findlay Comic Press, Variance Press, CounterActive Comics, Maron International Pictures and Stray Branch; in Canada by Arcana Comics; in the United Kingdom by Rogue Planet Press and Heavy Metal Artwork; in Ireland by Maron Pictures and in Mexico by Castálida magazine.
He has been a member of the Atlantis Studios art team in the United States, creating illustrations, covers, character designs, and comic book series (“Kid Victory,” “Varuk,” etc.). For Maron International Pictures (Los Angeles, USA), he has created the graphic novels “Freedom within the Heart” and “Ireland and the Sultan,” which adapt Mark Mahon’s screenplays into comics. “Freedom within the Heart” won the 2016 Illustration Award and the 2016 Silver Award in the Graphic Novel/Comic category at the Readers’ Favorite International Books Awards (USA).
Among his latest works in Spain, we can highlight his comics for the new era of KILLER TOONS magazine. One of them, the comic “Subject Darwin,” has been adapted into a short film by El Sur Producciones.
His comic book ANATOMY OF CHAOS, created in collaboration with Manuel Amaro and Dr. Zonum, won the IGNOTUS Award for Best Comic of 2018.
His graphic novel THE BLACK GOSPEL created in collaboration with Manuel Amaro and Dr. Zonum won the IMAGINAMALAGA 2005 AWARD for the best comic at the MÁLAGA INTERNATIONAL COMIC CONVENTION.

Currently, his artistic activity focuses on the creation of “pictophotographs.” In his latest works, he combines photography with digital painting to manipulate and transform reality and create atmospheres that give space to fantasy.
